Designed for Emmett Smith. The inspiration being side impact airbags from Volvo. Why? Because Emmett needed as much protection for his feet as he did body.

This shoe is special as it was specifically designed for the NFL Pro Bowl players, so not many were made. Side note: Troy Polamalu is the guy on the surf board!
Not all designers get excited over a $50 shoe, however, what I like about this particular shoe is it's ability to use basic materials with great color schemes.

I was inspired by the architecture in Chicago. More specifically, the Sears tower. The thought was to create a high top for the player who could leap at will and stay in the air.
In Spring of 2018, an opportunity to design with Etonic emerged. Being the oldest American footwear company made it both intriguing and honorable. While the criteria was to create three distinct footwear products, the chance to re-define their iconic logo, imagine their icon on apparel, print and footwear was exciting.
